1.) Preheat air fryer (or oven) to 350 degrees F.
2.) Create the "flax egg". Mix the 1 tbsp of ground flax with the 3 tbsp of water. Put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. The flax and water will combine together to make a sticky substance.
3.) Place chickpeas in a bowl and mash with a fork.
4.) Add all of the other ingredients to the bowl and mix well. Add in the flax egg and keep combining.
5.) Form into 6 patties. Bake for 10 minutes on 350F, flip burgers and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Top with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and whatever else you enjoy!
