Ingredients

whole wheat pastry flour
or half and half whole wheat flour and AP flour
1
cup
earth balance or Miyokos butter
lightly softened
2/3
cup
granulated organic sugar
3
Tbs
cornstarch

extract of choice
or split between your favorites - for example 1.5 vanilla and 1 almond
Instructions
Preheat to 325
Cream your sugar. Add your sugar and butter into a mixer and beat until creamy and light.
Add the extracts (or optional food coloring!)
Cream butter-sugar well and smooth
Sift in flour and cornstarch slowly.
Turn out onto a baking sheet lined in parchment.
Roll to 1/4 inch thick
Cut to shape and layout on the baking sheet evenly.
Bake for 13 minutes
Let cool before decorating on a cooling rack
Add vegan sprinkles
