Gluten Free Chocolate Donuts

A simple and rewarding vegan gluten-free chocolate donut recipe the whole family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cups water
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup plant milk
  • 1 ½ cups oat flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup cocoa powder and carob
  • 1 ½ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • Make coconut glaze:
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • For the Donuts:
  • Mix the Wet ingredients and then Dry ingredients together.
  • Oil the doughnut sheet, Bake 375 F for 20-25 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool.
  • For the Glaze:
  • After the doughnuts are cooled, dip one side in glaze. Sprinkle with coconut flakes or cacao nibs.
