Ingredients
2cans of youngripe jackfruit
12-16ozBeyond Meat or Impossible Meat
1/4Cdiced onion
1/8Cdark brown sugar
2tsp.onion powder
2tsp.garlic powder
2tspsmoked paprika
2tsp.liquid smoke
1tspblack pepper
½or more barbeque sauceI used Sweet Baby Rays
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375. Drain and rinse jackfruit. Shred jackfruit with fingers in a bowl. Add all spices and Beyond Meat or Impossible Meat. Mix well. Put on a sheet lined with foil and spray with cooking spray. Shape into a “slab” of ribs shape, (or shape of your bun if you are making sandwiches).Bake for 55-60 minutes. Remove from oven. Cut into strips and cover with BBQ sauce. Bake again for 10-15 minutes.
