Demonstrators chanted outside a Manhattan carriage horse stable Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 as models entered for one of the strangest venues for a fashion show: a horse stable. This as the controversy over the use of carriage horses on NYC’s busy streets grows, with critics charging NY Mayor Bill de Blasio, who repeatedly promised to retire the horses, has buckled to union pressures.
