Mayhem at Posh New York Blood Center Gala as Protesters Converge!

More than 100 protesters took to the street outside the New York Blood Center’s 2015 fundraising gala at the tony Cipriani in Manhattan. The uproar follows the NYBC’s much criticized decision to stop feeding chimpanzees they used for research. World famous Primatologist Dr Jane Goodall is among those pleading for the NYBC to feed the chimps.

The NYBC statement claims no responsibility to give food to a colony of chimps they used for decades for research despite a staffer’s public statement that there is a moral obligation to care for them.
