Hollywood Stars Comfort Pigs Headed to Slaughter!

LIVE as Actress Mena Suvari, of American Beauty, American Pie and Six Feet Under fame, speaks and bears witness, comforting pigs who are about the be slaughtered, at the Los Angeles Animal Save pig vigil, at a slaughterhouse near downtown Los Angeles, California. TV and movie star Alexandra Paul, who recently got arrested during an open rescue at a slaughterhouse in Oakland, also comforted the slaughter-bound pigs.

Oscar nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix was also in attendance, along with director Shaun Monson of Earthlings and Unity, giving water and perhaps the only kindness these pigs will ever experience in their brief, tormented lives.
