Nope. It is definitely not “average.” This Vegan French Toast is stuffed with peanut butter and jelly! Yes, You read right! As if a PB&J sandwich isn’t delicious enough, imagine it squished between two pieces of French Toast! Oh My! Tonia L Carrier is the master in the kitchen on this episode of #LunchBreakLIVE, showing us how to make this incredible comfort food!
Who Is The Vegan French Toast Master Known As Tonia?
Well, we already know she is a Queen in the kitchen…but what else?
Tonia is an indie filmmaker and hairstylist from Michigan who has been doing vegan activism since 2018. She is grateful to represent the Midwest on the JaneUnchained News Network. And we love having her! She also has a YouTube channel called Your Vegan Friend Tonia that you should definitely check out. It is fresh and fun and filled with lots of delicious recipes, plus other great videos about veganism and the vegan lifestyle. From recipes to interviews, visits to animal sanctuaries, you can find it all on Tonia’s YouTube channel.

Is Your Mouth-Watering Yet?
Below is the super easy recipe for this incredible comfort food breakfast! I truly am excited to try this one myself. I LOVE French Toast AND PB&J, so combining the two sounds INCREDIBLE! I am going to save this recipe for one of those downer days where I am feeling a little “blue.” I know this recipe will perk me up in a heartbeat! YAS!
Vegan French Toast Stuffed With PB&J
Ingredients
- Your choice of bread!
- Your choice of peanut butter
- Your choice of Jelly/jam make sure there's no gelatin!
- Approx 1.5T of Just Egg
- Approx 1.5T of your choice of plant milk it can be sweet or unsweet
- Dash of cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg if you'd like
Instructions
- Spray a frypan and let it get hot.
- Make a PB&J sandwich!
- Mix the Just Egg, plant milk, and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
- Dip the PB&J in the mixture. Let it sit in the mixture for about 10 seconds each side.
- Place sandwich in the pan. Turn heat down to medium.
- Let it cook until golden brown.
- Flip and let the other side cook until golden.
- Serve with syrup! YUMMY!
