Billie Eilish’s New Vegan Perfume Is a Hit… Of Course!

Los Angeles, CA, December 7, 2022 9:42 pm  – Billie Eilish’s newest vegan perfume, Eilish No. 2, has taken off since its launch in November of 2022.

One review gushed that it “smells like kissing in the rain.” Rain is a theme around this new scent, which is a follow-up to Eilish’s first vegan fragrance, Eilish Eau Du Parfum, which launched last year.

Like her first fragrance, Eilish No. 2 is also cruelty-free and certified on PETA’s Global Beauty Without Bunnies list. The scent includes notes of Italian bergamot, apple blossom, papyrus, black pepper, and wild poppy flowers and explores Billie’s favorite fragrance notes.

Singing in the Rain?

“I really liked the idea of a darker, rainy world for Eilish No. 2. We started with the original ‘Eilish’ elements of warmth and sweetness, but then added spicy and woodsy elements for a more sultry, and wet feeling,” says Eilish.

The design of the bottle is sultry as well and inspired by Eilish’s favorite body parts — the curves of the chest, neck, and collarbone.

Billie Eilish’s new perfume is a continuation of her commitment to promoting a plant-based lifestyle. She has created vegan versions of Nike’s Air Jordans, released vegan chocolate bars, and famously convinced Oscar De La Renta to stop selling fur in 2021. During her 2022 Happier Than Ever world tour, Eilish partnered with REVERB to create an Eco-Village at every tour stop which promoted non-profits focused on environmental issues and advocating for a plant-based lifestyle.

Last year, PETA named Eilish their Person of the Year, and Ingrid Newkirk, PETA’s president, described Eilish as “…seizing every opportunity to point out that vegan fashion and foods are kinder to the animals and the planet we share with them.”

Eilish also lends her celebrity to promote Support + Feed, a nonprofit organization founded by her mother, Maggie Baird, to provide plant-based meals to people in need. Eilish and Baird made special appearances on UnChainedTV’s popular plant-based cooking show, New Day, New Chef to introduce Support + Feed.

By overtly promoting Eilish No. 2 as a vegan perfume, and by creating new vegan products, Eilish continues to use her artistic expression to expose her fans to the plant-based lifestyle.
