WOUNDED MEMBERS OF AMERICA'S ARMED FORCES: ONE WOMAN'S REMARKABLE WALK
Last night I attended an amazing 50th birthday party for my dear friend TV/Radio journalist and author Rita Cosby who devoted the night to the injured among our armed forces, specifically the group found at: supportwoundedwarriors.org. TV journalist Geraldo Rivera hosted & Dionne Warwick sang. Quite a party! But the most amazing moment was when a female wounded warrior – who is paralyzed from the waist down – walked, thanks to ReWalk Robotics and their wearable robotic exoskeleton that allows paralyzed individuals to walk. I caught the emotional moment on my cellphone. Please watch. We can disagree about the wisdom of having gone into certain wars but we can all agree those who have lost limbs or become paralyzed need our respect and empathy. This woman is heroic. If you are so moved, please support.[wpvideo axpbiTkJ]
