Grassroots Animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere – DxE conducts world’s largest mass open rescue of sick and injured hens at an industrial egg farm. They claim this is criminal animal abuse and it is their obligation, as citizens, to document the abuse and take necessary action where the law has failed. Hundreds of activists including Australian activist James Aspey The Save Movementfounder Anita Krajnc and Anonymous for the Voiceless co-founders Asal Alamdari & Paul Bashir stage a vigil outside the farm, bearing witness to the hens being carried out!
