Amitabul! The host of Awesome Vegans, Elysabeth Alfano, reviews the Chicago institution: Amitabul on LunchBreakLIVE! Elysabeth talks with Chef Bill who started Amitabul 26 years ago and business has been great ever since. With a dedicated following, Chicagoans come to Amitabul for the fresh food, home-made by Chef Bill, and the spiritual atmosphere.
Chef Bill’s dishes are 95% oil free with distinctive spices and sauces. When Elysabeth visited the restaurant at 2:30p, the restaurant was still packed.

Other dishes that Elysabeth tried were Chop Chae, Sweet Curry Noodle, Mung Bean Pancakes, Cold Buckwheat Noodle Salad and Dumplings. Pure yum!!
