Join Plant-Based Recipe Developer Sahar Belle for #LunchBreakLIVE with Jane Velez-Mitchell making magic in the kitchen. Known for her specialty artisanal Mexican cheese and flavor-filled dishes, Sahar spends much of her time at VegFests all over the world!

 

 

Sahar Bell has a knack for creating amazing Mexican inspired vegan dishes.  She loves to develop her own recipes and share them with the world.  You can watch her make magic in the kitchen on her YouTube channel.  You don’t want to miss out on her delicious dishes!

 

THE RECIPE-picaditas

•2 cups corn flour “masa”
•1/4 cup of wheat flour 
•1 1/2 tsp of Pink Himalayan salt
•1/8 cup of vegetable oil
•2 to 3 cups of room temperature water. Depending on what the masa asks for.
Thread lightly with the water, what you want is the masa to be sturdy, not mushy.

To top it you will need:
•Salsa 
•Queso fresco 
•Mexican sour cream (table cream)
•Chopped onion
•Avocado 

Optional
•A little shredded lettuce
•Sliced radish
