LA to Vienna, Rising Against Slaughter!

In Los Angeles and Vienna, and many spots in between, the Save Movement is rising up, as people gather to bear witness to pigs and cows about to be slaughtered… and to comfort them. The video above is from Vienna, Austria from our #JaneUnChainedEurope contributor Ilana Bollag. As Europeans were comforting the slaughter bound pigs there, American animal activists were holding a vigil for pigs about to be slaughtered in Los Angeles. Click here to learn more about the save movement, founded by Anita Krajnc, a Toronto woman who was arrested and charged for giving water to a pig about to die. #JaneUnChained contributor Fabienne Oringer reports below from LA and interviews Gene Baur, President of Farm Sanctuary and the founder of the farm animal sanctuary movement.
