WHAT COSTS A MILLION DOLLARS A MILE AND COULD DESTROY WHAT IT CLAIMS TO SHOWCASE?
Environmentalists and Native American tribe leaders in Florida are alarmed over a wildly expensive proposal to put a 76-mile long paved bike path across the Everglades from the edge of Miami to the edge of Naples! It would run next to the Tamiami Trail. The so-called River of Grass Greenway could cost an estimated 1-million dollars a mile! Critics say bureaucrats  – hell bent on a big project –  would destroy sensitive wetlands and endanger wildlife while claiming they are just providing access to nature.
Now, tell the National Park Service how you feel.

Don’t take the words of others – google :miami dade rogg : to see the detailed May 2015 plan/feasibility study that fully exposes the unavoidable horrific impacts of this project. Also new $$$ estimates that have increased the cost of construction and operation and maintenance to nearly a quarter Billion dollars- that’s over #200,000,000 dollars not the initial 76 million wild low ball guess to get this ROGG moving. Even at that the estimate fails to include mitigation costs that could exceed all other estimates. Say Yes to Life – No to ROGG.
