Actress/Activist Gianna Simone Lifts Veganism To New Heights!
Today, Gianna Simone, actress and animal activist from Star Trek: Into Darkness and Unbroken: Path to Redemption 2, bakes up homemade vegan sugar-free cookies and her favorite vegan hummus dip on #LunchBreakLIVE! Taking athleticism to new heights, watch as she flies through the air on aerial silks. Following a whole foods plant-based diet, learned by studying Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., T. Colin Campbell, PhD, Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr. Michael Greger, she uses no oil or refined sugars.
Adding a dash of spices, the Simply Organic cinnamon, vanilla and cloves add balance and satisfaction to Gianna’s divine cookies. Food for Life Baking Co. tortillas are a tasty addition to her hummus too!
Quite a busy activist, along with giving compassion to pigs before they go to slaughter with the Los Angeles Save Movement, her non-profit The Gianna Simone Foundation provides rescue, as well as support to abused and neglected people and animals to help them feel loved, supported and safe for the first time in their lives.
