A Cherry Chocolate Vegan Burger? Say Whaaaaaaat? Oh And Some AWESOME Activists With a Cherry on Top!

On today’s #LunchBreakLIVE are two incredible vegan animal activists/social media influencers/changemakers Marlon Rison, known as PlantbasedG and Donny Singh, AKA Vegan_as_fvck for a tasty meal at Native Foods Cafè in Westwood, CA. A favorite of UCLA college students, the food here is homemade from products bought locally and from sustainable suppliers, using only 100% plant-based ingredients including vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, and nuts.

Marlon Rison is an athlete from Texas trying to wake the world up in the heart of cattle country.  You should definitely check out his website HERE.

“My purpose is to be a change agent. To provide a living, breathing example of what can be done if you treat yourself like you love yourself beginning with what you feed your body. In July 2017, I began my quest for better health and accountability and adopted a plant-based vegan lifestyle. In the back of my head, I always felt that my eating preference would evolve but never knew the level to which this would occur.”

Donny Singh is a recent vegan who is going full steam ahead on activism, determined to use his voice to help the world hit the vegan tipping point!  He uses social media for his activism, as well as hitting the streets for protests and vigils.  You should definitely follow him on Instagram HERE.

Native Foods is one of my favorite vegan joints!  The food is so tasty and there is NO guilt from eating too much because it is all 100% VEGAN!  If you haven’t been there yet, I highly recommend you check it out.  You will not be disappointed! They have locations in Los Angeles, Chicago, Orange County, San Diego, Palm Springs, Colorado, and Oregon!

I mean seriously….look at how delicious this sandwich looks! And trust me, it is DELICIOUS!
