Chef Babette’s pizza from Ep 3 of New Day New Chef

Chef Babette's Vegan Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 package tempeh
  • 1 cup red bell pepper
  • 1 cup green onion
  • 1 cup Crimini mushrooms
  • 1 Red onion
  • 2 cups soaked sun-dried tomato
  • 8 oz package grated vegan cheese
  • 1 tsp no salt seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Bragg’s or 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp agave
  • 1 tbsp yellow miso
  • 1 cup tomato paste or 4 fresh tomatoes

Instructions

  • (To make red sauce) Blend tomato paste or tomatoes
  • with miso, agave, Bragg (soy sauce) to taste, and 1 cup
  • of soaked sun-dried tomatoes. Set aside.
  • Mix 1/2 cup green onion, 1/2 cup bell pepper,
  • 1/2 cup crimini mushrooms, and 1 package tempeh
  • and sauté lightly
  • Build pizza with sautéed and fresh vegetables, and
  • vegan cheese
  • Bake covered for 20 - 25 mins at 350 degrees
