Chef Babette’s pizza from Ep 3 of New Day New Chef
Chef Babette's Vegan Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 package tempeh
- 1 cup red bell pepper
- 1 cup green onion
- 1 cup Crimini mushrooms
- 1 Red onion
- 2 cups soaked sun-dried tomato
- 8 oz package grated vegan cheese
- 1 tsp no salt seasoning
- 1 tbsp Bragg’s or 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp agave
- 1 tbsp yellow miso
- 1 cup tomato paste or 4 fresh tomatoes
Instructions
- (To make red sauce) Blend tomato paste or tomatoes
- with miso, agave, Bragg (soy sauce) to taste, and 1 cup
- of soaked sun-dried tomatoes. Set aside.
- Mix 1/2 cup green onion, 1/2 cup bell pepper,
- 1/2 cup crimini mushrooms, and 1 package tempeh
- and sauté lightly
- Build pizza with sautéed and fresh vegetables, and
- vegan cheese
- Bake covered for 20 - 25 mins at 350 degrees
