A VEGAN WARRIOR
New Times Magazine called Sean, “a voice at the forefront of the South Florida vegan movement”. Sean aims to showcase the people, places, and events that make South Florida a global hotspot for veganism. He leads the SoFlo Vegans community and media channel, produces original video content for local businesses and nonprofit organizations, and serves as a key communicator on what’s happening in the region.
Sean A. Russell is also the founder and CEO of Lesaruss Media, a marketing agency focused on veganism, education, health, and entertainment. Most of his adult life has been spent developing communities designed to promote compassion, connection, and creativity.
He served as a webmaster for the Miami Marlins, District Webmaster for Broward County Public Schools, and produced digital content for over 300 brands including MTV, Nickelodeon, Live Nation, and NBC. At his core, Sean is a storyteller. He does this through his podcasts, articles, news stories, and original music. It’s his pleasure to use his gifts to support clients or members of his rapidly expanding network.

KEEP IT SIMPLE: Tofu Rice Bowl
Some days you just need a simple meal that doesn’t take a lot of time. And that is where Sean’s Tofu Rice Bowl comes into play. It is so easy to throw together and provides a filling lunch or dinner with little effort. Using a tofu veggie burger gives you a ton of protein and the rice has fiber to fill you up. Throw this together on your busy days and you’ll have a jam-packed lunch that will keep your belly happy.

Mr. Russell’s Super Simple Tofu Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 Tofu Veggie Burger Patty Hodo
- 2 servings of brown rice
- 1 cup of sprouts or add more or less for texture
- 2-3 squirts of organic ketchup Whole Foods
Instructions
- Place veggie burger patty in pan to warm up on medium heat for 10 mins. Cook the rice for 15 mins until tender. Cut the patty, add over rice in a bowl. Add sprouts on top. Squirt ketchup and stir with a fork, folding the items in together. Dig in!
LUNCH IS THE BEST MEAL
I love me a simple meal and this Tofu Rice Bowl is perfect. You can use any protein you like, beyond burger, regular tofu, tempeh, or a tofu veggie burger like Sean used. Anything will work.
