Lunch With Rising Vegan Social Media Stars!
Join us for today’s Special #LunchBreakLIVE at the Natural Products Expo in Anaheim, California at the largest West Coast gathering of natural products this year, with JaneUnChained booker Paige Parsons Roache and a few surprise guests. Among the sea of thousands of businesses and incredible vegan products, you’ll see what today’s offerings bring to your taste buds! We start at MorningStar Farms with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)‘s Sexiest Vegan Over 50 Erin Riley-Carrasco, then head to Daiya Foods and Follow Your Heart! Join The Vegan Zombie and No Egg Craig as they taste their way through EXPO WEST!
MorningStar Farms is going to be all vegan by the year 2021! The MorningStar representatives Brayden and Mel explain that they are going vegan to give the consumers what they want. They also explain that as a large brand they have a responsibility to the consumers to provide plant-based products. Plant-based food is on the rise! This couldn’t be more apparent as social media personalities like the “Vegan Zombie,” “We_Are_All_Everywhere_Forever” (Cesar), and “No Egg Craig” increase in popularity on social media. Paige, Erin, and our special social media taste testers move on to the Daiya booth to check out their new products. Erin explains that everything they try is so delicious and there is no need to hurt animals. Today’s contributors tried a variety of amazing vegan cheeses and dairy-free products at Follow Your Heart too! There are so many vegan vendors at Expo West that there is no way we could get to them all in one show. Keep an eye out all of these amazing vegan products in stores. When you buy these products you set the tone for demand in the marketplace and make it possible for more vegan products to become widely available!
