The Secret to Eating Vegan is Making the Vegan Choice the Easy Choice
With a husband that is #AlwaysHungry, it’s important to keep easy vegan snacks within an arm’s length. Thus, we are constantly on the search for new delicious nutrient dense snacks to have on hand. We like to keep dry snacks like protein and fiber packed chips, bars and other goodies in our car, at Jake’s work and even my purse. When we travel we bring a cold pack with so we can stock up on local fresh goods like produce, hummus and dips like those shown below.
NEW Protein Packed, Savory Vegan Snacks that Double as a Meal!
Out with the old and in with the DELICIOUS! Skip the fast food and grab a bag of the new Take Out Meal in a Bag puffs from Outstanding Foods. We tried them in white chedda and chill ranch and WOW! But the real standout was the new Beanfields Vegan Cracklings! Packed with some serious flavor, these little guys offer a satiating snack with their blend of nutrient dense ingredients.
And Don’t Forget Your Sweet Vegan Snacks!
These days there is a vegan version of everything! Even those hot chocolate bombs taking over TikTok. We love enjoying our vegan hot chocolate bombs from The Roaring Vegans with coffee and a splash of the new hazelnut oat milk creamer from Califia. So yummy!!

and Jake Vaage @OGFunkyMonk
Growing up, hunting, fishing, and eating animals was in the framework of Jake’s family. Then in late 2015, he met Chelsea! At the beginning of 2016, Jake did a 22-day vegan challenge that changed his life. He lost 7 pounds, his skin cleared up, and he started sleeping more efficiently. Following the challenge, he stopped eating factory-farmed animals and not too long after that, he stopped hunting and fishing and became a passionate vegan advocate, animal rights activist, and athlete. Shows how anyone has the power to change! In recent years, Jake has been getting nerdier about proper nutrition and peak performance leading him and Chelsea to start a health and wellness business. Follow his workouts, meal prep, and more on Instagram @jakevaage.
Join Chelsea and Jake on #CouplesCookin Tuesdays at 6pmPST/9pmPST on Facebook.
