Piggy-less vegan Pigs In A Blanket For Super Bowl Sunday!
Looking for a fun snack dish for your upcoming Super Bowl party? We’ve got you covered! These vegan Pigs in a Blanket are amazing and so much fun! Oh yeah, and delicious! Bet you never thought you could replace hotdogs with carrots! You can, and it’s actually delicious! Wrap them up in delicious vegan croissants, dip them in ketchup and mustard, and you and your guests will be in heaven. And yes, the carrots actually end up tasting like hot dogs! It’s incredible. It’s all about the spices the carrots are cooked in. Don’t believe me? Give them a try!

PIGGY-LESS vegan Pigs in a Blanket!
Ingredients
- Package of vegan crescent rolls
- large bag baby carrots
- 1 box of veggie broth enough to cover a pot full of carrots
- 1/3 cup coconut aminos
- dash of liquid smoke optional
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Add carrots to pot and fill with veggie broth, just covering the baby carrots.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Stir to combine.
- Bring to boil & cover, simmer for 25 minutes
- Remote from heat let sit to marinade for 30 minutes
- Prepare crescent rolls (make sure the rollls are vegan friendly!)
- cut each roll in 1/2 - once carrots are done roll 1 carrot in each half crescent- add to baking sheet & bake in oven for 12-14 minutes at 375 degrees F
