Easiest Recipe EVER for Vegan Cheese & Sausage Biscuits with Gravy!
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine veggie sausage, biscuit baking mix and vegan cheese. Form into walnut size balls and place on baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown and sausage is cooked through.
Easiest Recipe EVER for Gravy
Take 3 tablespoons of oil heated in a small pot
Add quarter of a cup of flour
Stir like crazy to make it thick, which is when it becomes roux
Add 1/2 a cup of plant-based milk (almond, soy, hemp, rice or cashew)
Gradually add a bit more plant-based milk as you stir and sauce thickens more.
When the consistency is right, add a tablespoon of soy sauce.
Add 2 teaspoons of pepper.
You can also add spices if you like!
Turn off the heat and let stand for 4-6 minutes and sauce will thicken upon standing. Next, pour over the top of the sausage balls, serve and enjoy!
