RECIPE:Â Arroz a la Cubana with Vegan Egg & Platanos
INGREDIENTS – vegan egg
- 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Vegan Egg (TGIVegan.com @TGIVegan, TGIVEGAN@gmail.com)
INGREDIENTS – prepare ahead of time
- 1 medium red potato, diced and boiled until tender
- 1/2 c frozen peas, thawed in hot water and drained
- 1 c brown rice, cooked
- 1 plantain, (plantains), peeled and sautéed until tender in a small amount of oil, until browned on both sides
INGREDIENTS – veggie meat medley
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced or crushed
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 pkg LightLife Smart Ground original crumbles
- 1/4 c raisins
- few sprigs of cilantro on finished medley
DIRECTIONS – Vegan Egg
- Sauté in oil on medium heat until browned on both sides
DIRECTIONS – veggie meat medley
- Sauté the onion in olive oil until tender
- Add in the crushed garlic and continue to sauté for 1 minute
- Add the LightLife Smart Ground original crumbles and continue to sauté for another min
- Add in the raisins
- Add in the diced red potatoes and peas and cook until thoroughly heated
PLATING
- Place the veggie meat medley on the plate
- Place the rice on the plate, topped with the fried vegan egg
- Arrange the fried plantains on the plate in a decorative manner
- Enjoy!

How can we get the ingredients of the vegan egg, I would like to know what is in it please
