It’s Time to Fry Up Some Tofu!
Vegans Going Tofu Crazy! Tofu & Vegetable Stir Fry with DJ/photo journalist and contributor for JaneUnchained, Josh Goldstein, and host Antoinette Westcott on One Veggie At A Time. Today, Josh shows us how he goes way beyond PB&J’s cooking like a bachelor.
Josh has been a vegan for about 12 years! His way of being active for the animal rights and veganism is to lending his photographic talents to capture powerful images and video at activism and vegan events. Josh is a regular photographer at the pig vigils held at a slaughterhouse near Downtown Los Angeles weekly. He is also a contributor for JaneUnchained and helps shoot and take pictures of pieces featured on this website. When Josh isn’t taking videos and pictures for the animals, he works for a company called Blueprints where he takes pictures of sports fans.
First, Antoinette and Josh prepare the vegetables which mostly come pre-cut and ready to be added to the pan. He adds exotic vegetables like bamboo sprouts and water chestnuts to add authenticity to the dish. Then they add firm tofu and sauté all of the ingredients together. When it’s all done you can put it on a cooked rice and voila your quick and easy bachelor-friendly meal is ready! Josh may say that he is not much of a cook but this dish looks like it could have been made by a chef. It is also a rainbow of nutrients for your body. Try making your own tofu and vegetable stir fry with the recipe below!
