Meet the survivors! #JaneUnChained #LIVE with 200 rescued “farm” animals! Among them? Thirty of the 100 turkeys rescued from a Utah slaughterhouse! They are now living their lives in peace at the Happy Hen Animal Sanctuary, founded by 16 year old activist Zoe Rosenberg and her mom Sherstin! Among the liberated animals: 150 chickens, 4 pigs, 2 cows, 6 ducks, 4 goats, 2 sheep and more! Paige Parsons Roache reports with a message of compassion. You buy, they die.
Brittany Michelson explains how the 100 turkeys were saved in Utah. Thirty currently reside here at Happy Hen Animal Sanctuary. Fifteen will live here permanently and the other fifteen will be available for adoption. Emily explains how the sanctuary saves animals and reunites animals with their families. “Chopper” the goat was reunited with his daughter. These animals are so well-taken care of and they reciprocate with their love. One year-old “Buddha” the cow loves being pet just like a puppy. He will give his human companions a little kiss in return. This sanctuary proves that there truly is no difference between these animals and the animals that we as Americans traditionally have as our domestic companions. These animals just want to be respected, loved, and return that affection to us.
Brittany Drake explains her experience in Utah when she carried a turkey to safety. She explains how sweet and calm the turkey was that she carried just days before Thanksgiving when roughly 46 million turkeys are killed for holiday meals. Brittany further explains that there is a disconnect between people and these animals raised for food. These animals are sweet and innocent and they have their own personalities. They are truly individuals just like we are and their use for human consumption is completely unnecessary. Share this video with pre-vegan family and friends. It is sure to plant the seed and hopefully guide them to connecting with our all of our fellow animals one day!
