Plant Power Fast Food Now In Long Beach!
On this #SaturdaySnackDown, we celebrate the opening of Plant Power Fast Food‘s 5th location in Long Beach, California This amazing restaurant has the best shakes, burgers, salads and other classic dishes… all veganized! Join Genesis Butler, the internationally known “climate change campaigner” who asked Pope Francis to try vegan for Lent, as she shows the world that we don’t need to give up delicious burgers, fries, and milkshakes to Go Vegan. Lisa Karlan reports for JaneUnChained News.
We love fast food, but most of it is not very good for us, animals or the planet. Plant Power Fast Food provides the same food everyone loves….but so much better with many organic ingredients, gluten-free options, and no artificial colors, flavors or ingredients —> clearly this is the future of fast food! There are variety of choices from traditional burgers, fries & shakes to chicken sandwiches, wraps, salads, juices, smoothies and even raw items.
We visited the newest Plant Power Fast Food restaurant in Long Beach, which is the 5th location for this innovative restaurant chain in Southern California, with four other locations in Ocean Beach (San Diego), Encinitas, San Diego State University, and Redlands. Their goal is to make the world a better place for people and animals by launching the 1st chain of plant-based, cruelty free & environmentally sustainable fast food restaurants in the world.
We had the pleasure of sharing our meal with Jeff Harris, one of the founders and owners of Plant Power Fast Food. Joining us was 12 year old, TEDx speaker and animal rights activist, Genesis Butler and her mother, Genelle Butler.
After we finished videotaping this episode, the incredible musician from the bands No Doubt and Dreamcar, Tony Kanal came in with his family to enjoy a late lunch. They are such a beautiful family, raising their kids vegan, just like the Butler family.
