Badass Vegan Chili
Ingredients
- 1 package crumbled tofu or 1 package Gardein beefless ground
- 1 diced green pepper
- 1 diced red pepper
- 1 diced yellow pepper
- 1 diced orange pepper
- 1 diced onion
- 1 can Chickpeas rinsed and drained
- 1 can Black beans rinsed and drained
- 1 can Kidney beans rinsed and drained
- 1 large can organic tomato sauce 28 Oz
- 1 large can organic crushed tomatoes 28 Oz
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Chili powder to taste
- Garlic to taste
- Onion powder to taste
- Cumin to taste
- Cayenne pepper optional to taste
- Oregano optional to taste
Instructions
- In a pot on the stove, cook on medium for about 30 minutes, then simmer for another 30 minutes. Let cool and serve!
- In a crockpot: cover and cook on high for 1-2 hours, then turn to low for an additional 2-6 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Let cool and serve! ????
