RECIPE
BEYOND MEAT BURGER – TEXAS STYLE
INGREDIENTS
1 pkg Beyond Meat Burgers (4 burgers per pkg) defrosted
1 pkg Follow Your Heart (choose from American slices, Pepper Jack slices and Provolone slices)
1 -2 large organic tomatoes, sliced
4 large lettuce leaves, washed and dried
1 Tbsp organic canola oil (for pan)
1 Tbsp vegan butter (to grill buns)
1 Tbsp Hellmann’s mayo or Follow Your Heart Vegenaise
1 jar Local Harvest Salsa – Texas Candy (jalapeños, pineapple)
DIRECTIONS
- Place the oil into a hot pan and add the burgers, pan frying on both sides until done.
- Once the burger is flipped over, place the cheese on the burger allowing it to melt while the other side cooks
- Place the vegan butter on a grill and place the buns face down until toasted
- Slice the tomatoes
- Spread the mayo on the buns, add burger and top with lettuce, tomato and Texas Candy salsa
- salt and pepper to taste
- Enjoy
