Everyone will love this beautifully decorated vegan chocolate pie! The best part is, it looks like it took hours to make but is actually very simple. Only 4 ingredients make up the crust and only 5 for the filling. Be creative and use fresh fruit to garnish when the pie is chilled. A perfect dessert for the hot summer nights or to take to a party! Enjoy!
The Recipe
Creamy Vegan Chocolate Pie
– 1 cup dates
– 1 1/2 cups nuts (raw or toasted – (I used almonds and walnuts)
– 1/4 cup almond butter
– 1/2 cup coconut
Add some water if mixture becomes too thick for the blender to spin
– 1 1/3 cup coconut cream
– 3.5 oz dark vegan chocolate
– 1/3 cup coconut oil
– 2/3 cup dates
– 1 teaspoon vanilla
Melt coconut cream, chocolate and coconut oil over medium heat. Add this to dates and vanilla and blend at high speed until creamy. Pour mixture into crust and then chill 1 – 1 1/2 hours until formed.
