Get Your Tickets Now!

Eating Our Way to Extinction is narrated by actress Kate Winslet and will be released on Thursday, September 16, 2021. It’ll be in theaters for one day before hitting digital platforms. Click here to get your tickets by putting in your zip code. It will show you the nearest theater.

The London Premiere

The London premiere on September 8th was as glamorous as a documentary launch can get with Winslet lending her fame in the hopes of getting meaningful coverage from news organizations that generally ignore the impact of meat and dairy on climate as they are beholden to their advertisers, namely meat and dairy. Even her star power has, thus far, not resulted in much mainstream reporting on this breakthrough film. This Daily Mail article is as good as it gets. It mostly focuses on the outfits of the premiere attendees. Follow the money, as they say.

Climate Change

The link between climate change and what’s on our plates is being put squarely on the world’s television screens. You can also feel the full experience in theatres too! Not since Game Changers has a new vegan movie caused such excitement. You can read VegNews’ take on it here.

The movie aims to highlight the vast beauty of our planet in contrast to the environmental destruction caused by animal agriculture. Now, if we could just get President Biden and Prime Minister Boris Johnson to watch it.

JaneUnchained readers will also remember that we released our own vegan documentary on the subject of animal agriculture’s horrific impact on the climate.  Countdown To Year Zero is available on Amazon Prime.

Award Winner

It won the Best Documentary Feature Award at the Studio City Film Festival, among several awards. And, you can also read all about that on Jane Unchained.

Eating Our Way To Extinction even has an online interactive meal planner to help you if you’re not already plant-based. The website for this new vegan movie is a game-changer in itself.

Hollywood A-lister and Winslet’s Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio states:

“This is the film future generations will be wishing everyone watched today.”

The website continues: “Most of us live in cities, which cover about 1% of the land used by humanity. We see the human impact there, but by far our greatest impact on planet Earth is rarely seen: two-thirds of the land we use is for food production. But 85% of this land is for livestock: grazing lands and feed crops. Changing how we use this 85% is key to reversing the environmental crises we face.”

The Game Changers, featuring James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan and Lewis Hamilton is one of the most recent famous examples of a popular vegan movie. Plus, it is loaded with facts. And, the film even explains scientifically why vegans are better in bed.
