A Raw Vegan Cashew Apple Cheesecake
Looking For An Amazing Raw Vegan Dessert?
We’re in for a real treat today with a raw vegan dessert that hits the spot! Chef Vincent Depaul, founder of the world-famous restaurant, Gangster Vegan Organics‘ is showing us how to make his vegan Raw Cashew Apple Cheesecake (Bonita Applebaum). This dessert is delicious, simple to make, and will have you craving more and more. let’s see how it is done…
Feeding Those In Need
Vincent was attracted to the so-called “Gangster” lifestyle at a very early age. Sex, money, drugs, and violence. In his early 20’s he created Selebs, a T-shirt brand that made a huge impact throughout the hip-hop and Hollywood industry and he went on to sell millions of shirts worldwide. At the age of 30, he lost everything and became morally and spiritually bankrupt. It was through this tough time that he was introduced to his first fresh-pressed organic juice, and it changed his life forever. With this new awakening, he decided he wanted to make a difference in the world. So he created Gangster Vegan. At first, it was just a t-shirt, and for every shirt sold he fed an inner-city child a free hot organic vegan meal (he still does this today). In 2014 he opened up his first restaurant in Norristown, PA called Gangster Vegan Organics and he currently has five locations. Three are in PA and two are in MD. He also has one food truck. Vincent is dedicated to serving love and improving the quality of life worldwide.
Gangster Vegan Organics is redefining what it is to be “Gangster”. They are committed to making it “Gangster” to eat healthily, to spread Love, to be kind to one another and the earth. They are committed to making healthy organic food available to everyone.
Gangster Vegan Feed The Block
Gangster Vegan is on a worldwide mission to improve and transform the quality of life everywhere, one meal at a time. They are committed to Feeding The Block Worldwide; healthy, flavorful, plant-based meals and provide access to fresh fruits and vegetables. They target food deserts and areas in need, with no access to healthy flavorful foods.
The Raw Vegan Cashew Apple Cheesecake Masterpiece Awaits
The raw vegan dessert Vinny made for us on this episode of #LunchBreakLIVE is absolutely incredible! The homemade raw pie crust is made of sunflower seeds and date paste. So much yum. And the pie filling…oh my…it is just delicious. And guess what! It is a raw dish so there is no baking involved. I love that! I am super excited about this recipe because, to be honest raw vegan desserts are my favorite. I have always loved them. The flavors are incredible and the textures are so pleasing to me. Raw pie crust is simply the best.
