INCREDIBLE GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN DONUT RECIPE
We have a great vegan donut recipe for you! Learn to make these treats with today’s Vegan chef Annie Vandenheuvel and guest host Sarah Segal, caregiver of Beach Pets L.A. and organizer for Climate Healers / Climate Healers Los Angeles and a longtime JaneUnchained Contributor. Today they created gluten-free vegan chocolate donuts with peaches. Chef Annie V. will also be prepping for the gourmet stew to feed to those in need as part of the Food Healers monthly outreach.

Her Naturopathy Diploma for Health and Wellness was earned from the School of Naturopathic Nutrition. And she has a CTAA Accredited Aromatherapy Diploma.
Annie has assisted numerous clients to heal from various conditions through the use of herbal medicine and plant-based diet protocols. Aside from her individual coaching, consultations, and product line, Annie has been hosting educational workshops and lectures since 2010, educating adults, children, and teens around Southern California. Annie is known for her captivating educational style that turns complex biological principles into simple, easy-to-understand concepts.
All of her products are handmade in small batches using 100% organic and wild-crafted herbs. Annie is also in the process of writing and publishing her 2 Cookbooks that will include raw and cooked recipes.

LET’S MAKE A VEGAN DONUT RECIPE!
These donuts are pretty impressive considering how simple they are to make! They provide a sweet treat with every bite. The kids and family will love these…or bring them to your next gathering or potluck and you are sure to become popular fast!
Gluten Free Chocolate Donuts
Ingredients
- ½ cups water
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup plant milk
- 1 ½ cups oat flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ cup cocoa powder and carob
- 1 ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- Make coconut glaze:
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- Pinch salt
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Instructions
- For the Donuts:
- Mix the Wet ingredients and then Dry ingredients together.
- Oil the doughnut sheet, Bake 375 F for 20-25 minutes
- Remove from the oven and let it cool.
- For the Glaze:
- After the doughnuts are cooled, dip one side in glaze. Sprinkle with coconut flakes or cacao nibs.
